Version: Panda ActiveScan 5.53
Pros: None at all.
Cons: I tried to use panda active scan but I couldn't.Because every time I try to load this program it never starts and eventually it crashes.I tried re-installation but still I couldn't start this program.Instead of panda active scan use Trend micro house call because it works.

Pros: Absolutely nothing. I wasted my time trying to get this to work.
Cons: This is nothing more than adware. After you "install" the active X, it does nothing more than display an ad for purchase of the scaning service. It does not provide the free on-line scan it promises. Recommend you delete the active X file by going to your IE "Tools" menu and click "Manage Add-ons," then open the "show" menu bar at top of the dialog box and click "Downloaded Active X Controls." Highlight the Active Scan file from Panda and click "delete."

"Positive impression, but not without faults.."
Pros: It has been working great! It has been able to remove viruses from my system which even not Sophos could find neither F-Secures anti-virus package.
Cons: At first I was unable to login to my account because I had gotten information through e-mail that I needed to login using a username, so I had to call swedish support so that they could help me with this matter. They told me that I needed to enter my e-mail address instead of the username which I had gotten through e-mail. Then it worked! I have, however, experienced that when I used the Panda online scanner with Firefox that my whole computer just hang! :-( So I switched to Internet Explorer and then it worked better. So, personally, I wouldn't recommend it with Firefox.. Use internet explorer. First I was happy that it worked with Firefox because it's one my favourite browsers, but maybe Panda should deactive the Firefox compatability bacause of risk of instability of the whole system.
