  Free 5GB data Unlimited storage with Prime subscription

  Cons

  The Name. Instead "Cloud Drive" it should be called something like "Cloud Storage". In no way it looks like a drive. This app just opens a web browser. Its totally opposite from Google drive, drop box, or sky drive. Its more like S3, there is a web interface, you can just upload and download.

  Summary

  Amazon is a service oriented company, and they won't invest much in building client side tools. Its because of their frugality principle (its in their blood).

  Amazon Cloud Storage app for Windows 7 desktop installs nicely and works extremely well. Very easy to use. Instant access to 5 GB of online storage space for FREE!

  NONE! This is a great deal.

  Summary

  Amazon Cloud Storage and its desktop app is a TOTAL FREE LUNCH. So, I am amazed by those who complained in other reviews. What more can you ask for? Maybe Amazon should pay them to use the free storage service? Big deal if there is no support for Windows XP. In less than two years, Microsoft will finally kill XP. Then XP will join Windows 98 in the retirement home for old operating systems. So, why should Amazon invest money in supporting a soon-to-be obsolete OS?

  No problems. Very easy to set up. Provides free 5GB storage space on amazon server.

  Cons

  None. I disagree with the reviewer who gave it only one star as it "doesn't work in Win XP". No developer is mandated to make their software work with all the present and past operating systems. And it's clearly stated that it is for Vista and 7 only.

  Summary

  Good basic free cloud drive for online storage of files. Paid upgrades available. Can store all your purchased on amazon kindle books, music, videos at no extra charge.

  I was not able to install, because there is no Windows XP version! What is wrong with you guys! Are we on the Amazon forest?

  Summary

  I wish there were more thinking heads at Amazon. There are a huge amount of companies that are not willing to upgrade from Windows XP. It's working well for the last 10 years, why should I change it? Why should I spend a load of money in a software, that has been doing its job perfectly? If I move to Windows 7, I will have a bunch of problems, a difficult learning curve for my employees, and in a few months, I will have to upgrade it again to Windows 8? I already see a bunch of Windows XP unofficial sites coming.
