This free browser plug-in puts some Internet services, resources, and tools at your fingertips, though we encountered significant trouble loading some pages.
Alaria Toolbar's simple pull-down menus let you launch Web pages that offer domain-name registration, Whois server information, Internet marketing, and more. However, the domain-name registration page was unavailable and most of the remaining services direct you to either Securepaynet.net (not currently live) or Alariait.com. You'll also find links to Web sites offering Internet faxing, and news, weather, and travel info, although the load time was notably slow for some pages. The inclusion of a Live Help link was a nice addition, but there's a charge for the service. The pop-up blocker and trace cleaners are fairly standard extras, and the pop-up blocker wasn't 100 percent effective.
Alaria Toolbar has a few useful links, but seems to be primarily aimed at getting you to visit the publisher's Web site.
