The Webshots Desktop is a free photo- and video-management application that combines tools for managing and sharing your own personal photos and videos with wallpaper and screensaver functionality. The latest version lets you easily organize and upload all your photos and videos right from your desktop, including drag-and-drop functionality from Windows to your Webshots albums. You can also download the optional Webshots Toolbar for Internet Explorer. The Toolbar lets you search Webshots or the web from your browser window, upload photos, access your member homepage with one click, and for fun, you can highlight any word on the web and search its photo and video results. As a member of Webshots, you can upload your photos and videos for free, share them with family and friends though albums and slideshows, and create high-quality custom and personalized prints, photobooks and gifts at the Webshots store.

Version 3.0.0.7245 includes built-in video player, allows to move videos between albums, adds ability to tag photos and video, and improves Windows Vista support.

  The Best Wallpaper program

  Pros: Webshots has been the best wallpaper management program I've seen to date. It allows you to change wallpapers every hour or longer, it allows you to categorize photos as you wantt, and use those photos as your wallpapers or not. Webshots is very easy to install and setup according to your preeferences.

  Cons: The only thing I have against Webshots is the way the downloaded images (from webshots.com) can only be viewed in Webshots. (I will say that there are ways around this)

  Pros: I use Webshots to display my photos as both a screen sver and as the desktop wallpaper. Webshots does both of these tasks fine.
