Publisher's description of Age of Empires
Age of Empires is a civilization-building strategy game with few competitors. Designed at Microsoft by the same people who crafted the award-winning Civilization, Age of Empires features advanced gameplay that's comprehensive enough for hard-core fans of strategic gaming, yet simple enough for the newest gamer to pick up. It also has breathtaking 3D graphics, unusual in this area of the gaming world. Start the game with only your powers of persuasion, and then get your tribe learning essential skills and adapting and developing important technologies to advance. In time, you'll reach out to other civilizations through peaceful trade or through combat and annexation. Age of Empires is anything but predictable--single out a scenario to play and repeat, and you'll be greeted with a different situation every time. This demo version allows you to play one campaign.

Version: Age of Empires 1.0
Pros: Absolutely Brilliant thats what i use to describe this game to my friends. Addictive, detailed and clever! This game would take quite a while to complete, fully. Graphics are OK but who cares it's how the game works that matters.
Cons: May be frustrating for some gamers

Version: Age of Empires 1.0
Pros: Works well on older PC's that aren't overloaded with RAM.
Cons: Extremely addicting. Can't stop playing it long enough to post a review! Gets boring without free add-ons.

Version: Age of Empires 1.0
Pros: Not many games can run on my computer, but Age of Empires is one of those games that does. This game is still fun (for me) even though it's a few years old.
Cons: There will probably be people who gripe about how old the graphics are, but there are always going to be people like that...

Version: Age of Empires 1.0
Pros: This game is very fun. Although the graphics aren't excellent, the gameplay is great! I'd recomment this game to ANYONE.
Cons: Once a villager is done with a farm, he moves to another, but gathers no food. This makes you think his farm is still good.
