Due to a relatively small database of malware programs and lack of advanced features such as real-time protection, this antispyware application seems more like a work in progress than a finished product.

Though it quickly goes about its business, Adware Away can't identify as many offending applications as its competitors, and it fails to catch quite a few third-party programs. The main window is easy enough to understand and quite polished. You can choose the areas of your PC to scan, but the program offers no additional information on found entries and doesn't allow you to sort them. The five-day trial period also may be too short for some users to fully evaluate this application.

At the end of the day, Adware Away stands as a strictly so-so option; it won't hurt to try it out, but its bigger-name competitors offer more comprehensive levels of protection.

"Another Reviewer scam!"

Cons: Another one of these programs where the staff at "FlyYaNet Technology" have submitted lots of their own reviews.Just take a look, 90% of reviewers have only done 1 review each(for adaware away).. hmmmm? not for me sorry!

Pros: Always finds something when "big" scanners show clean result.

Cons: ...But it doesn't want to tell you what has it found. Maybe this is a fake to collect money.

"Rip Off"

Pros: I downloaded and paid for program. Then got absolutely NO response from technical support. You are supposed to be able to submit scan for them to find errors. All emails bounced back, contacted company that handled the payment for them, they eMetrix was very helpful getting refund, Adaware Away would not even respond to them.

Cons: NO tech support, bounced back emails to them. Fishy???

"Not free to try"

Pros: It was recommended to me for a certain type of problem

Cons: It claims that it is free to try, but it's not. You download it, scan, it finds the problem, but then you have to purchase to remove threat. So, I really did not have the opportunity to try it. Others allow me to truly try something.
