With this software, you can have a customized Web effect ready in less than 4 minutes. It contains 40 customizable effects. These effects are free to be used for both commercial or non-commercial purposes and are not crippled in any way or time limited. With Advanced Effect Maker, you can also send your Flash files to your friends by e-mail. Macromedia Flash is not required to use this software. This package includes the powerful Visual Applet Configurator (VAC) which helps you customize the effects to your liking. Version 2 has completely new interface and many applets updated. Better working OS X version.

Version: Advanced Effect Maker Freeware Edition for Mac 2
Pros: None.
Cons: I downloaded, read the ReadMe, installed the files, double clicked to start and nothing happened. I deleted all, redownloaded and same results. I went to their website. First thing they wanted was my name and email to proceed. I don't think so. I got around that. Found a statement about problems downloading of earlier versions. Downloaded their new version. Same problem, nothing starts. I am using an Intel iMac with latest Tiger but certainly not using this software.

"This free version requires viewers to go vender's site."
Pros: Unlike previous reviewer found, the software works on my Mac OS X 3.9 PowerPC system.
Cons: Does less than I hoped. Only adds motion transitions to static images, text and messages for web sites. This free version requires all visitors to your web site to first visit the vendor's site to get the applets, before they can see what you produced. (Product costs at least $29 to remove this restriction.)
