Publisher's description of Advanced Device Locks for Symbian S60 3rd
Advanced Device Locks (ADL) is an application for locking the phone or selected applications only such as Messages, Pictures, Contacts, or Video. With ADL you can secure your phone by locking it up with a secret code up to seven characters long. To stay confident that your phone will not be accessible when stolen and no one will fiddle with your device without your knowledge, it is ADL you need. With ADL you have the option to choose whether to lock the phone itself, to lock selected applications or combine both. You can define device lock timeout and behavior (the lock can go on when SIM changed, always or automatically with defined timeout). ADL is useful to anyone who do not want their children to accidentally harm the information by playing with their device or an unauthorized person to access certain applications. It is also preferred when using a business phone that can be circulated among different groups in the company with different levels of information access.
Version 1.08 adds support for Nokia S60 3.2 devices and Samsung S60 3rd edition devices.
