Pros: Not a damn thing.
Cons: Every single time you start the player it begs you to buy the full version.
Also, most of the options are disabled unless you dish out some cash. No full screen for you.Summary: Why does CNET even allow such crap on here?
I forgot to mention the spyware that comes with this. Please avoid this player.

"A DVD player that can't play DVDs..."
Pros: Nothing good to say
Cons: Haven't found a single DVD it can actually play, plus the annoying nag screen always appears advising me to upgrade to the professional edition. A waste of bandwidth downloading it.

"McAfee says: Contains Generic PUP.a"
Pros: Nothing good to say about this
Cons: You get what you pay for. In this case it's free and so you get nothing at all apart from some spyware (Mcafee picked up Generic PUP.a when installing)
Summary: Installs spyware and tries to get you to install lots of crap while installing if you're not careful and once you have infected your PC it doesnt play anything at all. AVOID.

Pros: it is Free
Cons: unexpected explorer view. this interface is so old. I expect a skin. The worst though is the nag screen. You will have to decline to upgrade to the pro version every time you start the program
