From Microsoft:Messenger for Mac 7 is an integrated communications client that enables you to communicate with contacts within and outside your organization. Messenger for Mac 7 is a Universal application that is built to run on both PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs and makes it easy to take advantage of the full power of real-time communications.
Version 7 lets users customize their contact lists with personal nicknames, use Bonjour to find and locate other contacts in their area, and search for contacts in personal lists.

"OK if you need to talk to MSN users but..."
Pros: It's good that you can chat with MSN users, but I wouldn't install it by choice. Personally Skype is much better.
Cons: Pretty heavy download just for a dumb chat client.

Pros: Ok, I can contact my friends that use it.
Cons: This is a piece of crap. Microsoft does it with very poor functions to force you to go back to Windows. What a stupid strategy.
