  "Bloated ware"

  Cons: Unnecessary updates eat band-width, and the program is too slow to start. :-(

  I use PDF X-Change Viewer.. That is very good, light, and fast.

  "A terrible step backward for an iconic software."

  Pros: I like nothing about this.

  Cons: It was a nightmare to install, terribly bloated, and not as advertised as far as speed. Don't get me started on installing Flash.

  Adobe took about the biggest step backwards of any major software package I can remember with this.

  I've taken the advice of others and have Foxit Reader. VERY, VERY nice!! Much faster, easier, about 5% as big and does everything and more than I want or need.

  Once again, I disagree with the editor's and their ratings. There is much better out there so how do you give it 5 stars?

  "the best ever"

  Pros: i used to have the version 7.0 earlier, but it was so sloooow.after it i used 8.12 but it was also no good. now this version is the best i have tried

  "Reader 9 bad choice"

  Pros: nice GUI, but whats up with all the bloat, I want just a functional reader with out all the bull. Crashed my ability to use reader at all, how do I know. Well I uninstalled 9 back to 8, guess, reader now worked as advertised with it crashing all the time. Did this several times with the same result.

  Cons: Doesn't as advertised????

  "Quite poor. Cant save filled out PDF forms. PDF xchange or PDFill are 10x better"

  Pros: - It looks professional

  Cons: - does only basic things

  - can't save filled out forms

  - can't write on the PDF

  - massive file size
