Version: Adobe Encore DVD 1.5
"good progam, but used others that are cheaper and more versatile"
Pros: Good quality DVDs can be produced with this program, even in widescreen mode.
Cons: Took a bit to get used to the interface, as too many windows needs to be opened when building your project - which clutters the screen. A lot more DVD contents such as menus would be good too. Some programs which are considerably cheaper can do the same, and a lot more user friendly.

"I'm sure Adobe Encore is a great product - how about a CRC error free download?"
Cons: Had to download tryout from Adobe.com as Download.com hosts a CRC error riddled zip file!

"Highly unstable! Stay away from subs!!!"
Summary: Whoever has dealt with dvd authoring knows how painstaking it is to get those subtitles in synch. Now imagine loosing two weeks' worth of work, not once but twice! Encore corrupts workfiles beyond recovery, despite it's "save this file or bust" feat... read more >>
