Account is a program that links your spreadsheet directly to a built-in general ledger. Unlike many accounting packages, you can post entries directly from your spreadsheet. Because it is spreadsheet-based, Account can be customized to meet your needs. The software comes with a spreadsheet template suitable for a small business. Parallel is planning templates for budgets, accounts preparation, extended trial balance, business plans, and management reporting. Account is a 60-day trial. Registration is $225. Just out version 1.6 includes new easy to use interface, new worksheet functions and an updated accounting spreadsheet.
