- "Photoshop CS3 improves help and video support"
Photoshop is the professional standard in digital imaging, with an endless selection of drawing tools, filters, and color-adjustment capabilities for manipulating items in almost any way. Originally designed for bitmap images, Photoshop lets you create eye-catching typography by placing text on paths or within shapes, perform shadow and highlight correction, explore expanded color-matching features, parlay efficient layer comps, and preview, search, and share images. Oh, and it's also the premiere program for managing home digital printing.
CS3 Extended includes support for rendering and integrating 3D images into 2D composites and video layer editing. There's also a greatly modified help menu to take the edge off your learning curve, with built-in how-to's on Preparing Art for Other Applications, Printing Photos, Working with Color and Type, and more. From simply lightening dark photos to improving color and contrast, to adding objects or people that weren't originally in the picture, Photoshop is an excellent tool whose innovative features meet any professional need.
Though it's an excellent software tool, the trial version demands a lot of download time, hard drive space, and RAM for rendering and other heavy tasks. However, the trial is fully functional, letting you edit, save, print, and export files, making it easier to assess this expensive product. Keep in mind that Photoshop has a steep learning curve, so great results take time and training.

Version: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
Pros: I was very amused of this software so I gave it a try and uninstalled CS2. Apparently it;s good in for designing, and I was amazed by the new features that it has given plus more capabilities to those who do photography, etc.
Cons: I was disappointed becasue:
1) It came with a bunble of "special feature" that even the regular version of CS3 gives and I did not see any uninstaller for any of them. I personally have no use for most of their added features like Adobe Bridge, Stock Photos, ExtendedScript Toolkit, etc.
2) This seem to have gotten more complicated. I've notice they retired ImageReady and merged animation and slicing capibilities to Photoshop.
3) They menus have been more complicated. I tend to do trial&error a lot when designing a banner, and now the history & actions is moved to a side panel menu.. this makes things less convenient.
4) When you start a new project, I usually just ise 640 x 480 for random stuff, and apparently now, they categorized the image sizes and it takes longer to find now.

Version: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended
"Great program but priced way too high!"
Pros: It is an essential program to have if you're a graphic artist. Which is probably why it costs an arm and a leg. It has gotten a bit easier to use over the last two versions.
Cons: price, price, price.

Cons: Slightly too expensive. Some other tools can do almost as good for less money.

Cons: price way too high i could almost buy new car for that amount popel dont have prblems with price of this product are the ones who can buy hummers and pay 50$ or more to fill up the hummer every 5 or 15 miles or so everyupdate this company does with cs3 or higher the price goes up with every update that they come out with reminds me of ipods you want more memory buy a new one for a couple hunderd dollars save alot money if you just input a memory car into ipod when its instaed of buying new every year for 100 doallrs or more.
and the memory ive noticed if you dont have good job working for the predident, lawer, doctor you cant use this program you need a to sepnd another couple 1000 of dollars or more just to us this program and so it wont slow down your computer in the process memory hog i would also like to use program that doesnt involve me having to sigin on to the net just to use i cant just install it and be done with it i have to be online and install it and fill out all this crap name, email.
what if the compainey site gets busy slows they had to shut down for week you cant use it because you need to sgin on there site to do so or if there site crashes, get virus redo there firewalls.
i would like to use a program that doesnt involve me to go on the net just to use for my persoanl use time consuming to go on the or if you dial connection that makes it worse
