Pros: Sounds good...
Cons: Email scanner cut off after 30 days, Lots of problems, Causes BSoD, Low detection rates, Unfriendly interface, Real-time protection very bad.
Compare this to Avast! Home Edition 4.8 and you will see that avast is definitely better than AVG, For AVG you have to manual update because auto-updates expire after 30 days and you have to use manual scan to pick up any viruses(It's very rare that AVG will pick up anything other than EICAR test file), For Avast! you just install it let it do boot-scan, move all infected files to chest then just let your computer startup and then you're clean forever(Very unlikely any virus will get past the 7 shields, Probably wont even get past the web shields), and avast auto updates silently, pops-up a small blue box saying avast has been updated then says out load through speakers "Virus Database has been updated!"
