Dumb II
Pros: Can't install the demo. I guess that would be a PRO considering everything. I'm beginning to get used to downloading useless demo's, almost as fun as playing the games.
Cons: The game requirements according to Download.com are
Requirements: Windows XP/Vista, 512MB RAM
I download 1.5 gigs to my computer and when I click on it, it says its not a valid Win32 Application. The download has a EXE extension, so in theory all I have to do is double click on it. No luck. I renamed it to a zip file and tried to unzip it, No Luck. If you're in the mood to download a couple gigs of worthless non running demo's, I suggest you try Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts, which they seemed to have removed from Download.com. I predict same will happen to this demo also.
DOWNLOAD.COM. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. I DOWNLOADED 3.5 GIGS WORTH OF DEMOS FROM YOUR SITE THAT REFUSED TO RUN. CAN YOU PLEASE AT LEAST DOUBLE CLICK ON YOUR DEMO'S BEFORE YOU PUT THEM UP.
I agree with this user
DOWNLOAD.COM.GET WITH IT,EVERY DEMO I DOWNLOADED FROM YOUR SITE IS CORRUPTED,AND WILL NOT RUN OR THE DEMOS FREEZE UP,DOES YOUR SITE GET SEVERE BRAIN FARTS?
Game Review
Finally downloaded the game from Yahoo Games, and it ran just fine. Seems I'm going to be doing my demo downloads from them from now on.
As far as the game goes, I was dissapointed. The graphics are nice and I wish I had a better graphics card to enjoy it, but there is no gameplay to speak of. It's just like the original COD with a modern theme. The enemy is just placed statically around the map and you have to take them out. The enemy is just mindlessly shooting at you. You can just take cover behind a car, and they just shoot at you day and night. Your squad gets shot up and more come up from behind the map. Game lacks any sort of enemy AI and any sort of strategy. Just shoot whatever gets in your way.
