Pros: It look great as a yahoo tool bar and that's about it.
Cons: Long and short of it the Yahoo Tool Bar 7.0.5 does not work if your running it in IE. I finally gave up on it after I had to uninstall it 5 times in one week. When you call tech support for help they are not very help. They just tell you to call your DSL service for help. The on line support is even worse. Half the buttons work when they want to and the rest don't work at all. Even when you do the service patch update that does nothing. I tried to reinstall the 6.0.0 version but the problem there is the new software does not support it any more. This is almost as bad as the new Beta Mail Service that they have which is a slow as a snail!! I finally ended up uninstalling 7.0.5 and just using IE tool bar. I'm waiting for the rest of Yahoo program to stop working right because of that.
The beta mail service is terrible.
I had no problems installing this version for internet explorer though. I'm running "Vista Home Premium" and it went in without a glitch. I guess anyone can have trouble with anything sometimes. I'm sorry to here you had trouble with this toolbar.
