Record Internet radio, save to mp3 or wav. Record streaming audio from the Internet, microphone, or any other source for that matter, works directly with your system sound card. If you can hear it, you can record it. Use the scan tool to list all mp3 and wav, aif, swa, or sun au audio files on your entire computer, you can play and record portions of any of these files. Mp3 My Mp3 Recorder offers customizable colors, timer, on top mode, and skinning is also included.
Version 2.0 added timer, automatic saving of settings, more built in skins, increased speed. Better timer display, unlimited recording time based on system resources, new buttons linking directly to system sound settings panels. Also a bug fix for windows 2000 users.

Yes, Virginia, there really is good audio freeware. Mp3 My Mp3 Recorder does a crackerjack job recording audio from a sound card or a microphone. We tested it with ordinary jack-in mikes and USB mikes, as well as with an old cassette recorder we plugged into the computer's line-in jack. We also recorded a Real Audio file; Mp3 My Mp3 Recorder managed every task successfully. Though it does lack advanced tuning options, it has settings for adjusting the quality of recorded audio. You can save recorded sound in WAV or MP3 formats, and the scheduler is another useful option. It allows you to set when a recording should start and how long it should last; the program will start recording as planned, whether you're at the computer or not. It's a great way to keep from missing your favorite radio program. In sum, if you're on the hunt for an audio recorder, check out Mp3 My Mp3 Recorder.
