This is the answer to the pay services...Frostwire is a cleaner version of Limewire. Less junk strewed about your PC like it's big brother Limewire...think STUB INSTALLER...etc. This program uses the same network, same speeds, same (if not more) security with ultrapeer shielding...try it, it's awesome!

Properly configured it's one of the safest P2P clients out there. In options set it to NOT AUTOSTART when you start your pc...then set the default shutdown behavior from MINIMIZE TO TRAY to SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY ...next uncheck any folders that you don't want to SHARE...then set the junk slider to STRICT and DON"T DISPLAY JUNK...next set your firewall's rules for frostwire to only allow in/out udp or tcp traffic on the port that your frostwire defaults to (found in the settings)...that is how you safely use limewire/frostwire...now you know!

Also, download from the higher number of users...make sure there is a NORMAL bandwidth displayed and scan with your a/v and/or spyware app before you play the song/video.

DON'T BE SCARED!

Nobody can see anything on your computer, UNLESS you tell it specifically what to share, such as a downloads folder on your desktop.
Also, LimeWire is safer than FrostWire because FrostWire hacks MSN, Yahoo and AIM, and LimeWire does only what you tell it to, i did a test using COMODO Firewall, Defence+ in the new V3 of COMODO Firewall detected FrostWire modifying the memory of my IM Programs(MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ), when i tried LimeWire, i only got the basic P2P warnings such as connecting to internet and creating new files i downloaded.
If you are that scared of getting a virus, then maybe you should just not use P2P at all

@spy_1: They aren't conning anyone, dumbass. The entire idea behind this was to show people that Frostwire is Limewire Pro, but free. Seriously, think about what you say before you say it. You make yourself look pretty stupid otherwise.

put this with the list of garbage programs to never put on your computer. tied for first is aol & norton, second place would be stardock & any free security, a close third would be limewire/frostwire...
