Overcoming iPhone envy

Is your iPod feeling abandoned?
(Credit: CNET Networks)If your iPod is turning green with envy or blue with neglect from the incessant roar over Apple's iPhone (check our nerve center for the latest news, reviews, and apps), it may be time to revisit the programs that made you and your iPod inseparable until now.
Seth Rosenblatt's collection of best iPodware includes iGadget, the ultimate iPod data-syncing and management utility; MediaMonkey, a hit jukebox; and the Plato Video to iPod Converter, which makes your iPod video-ready.
Wedge in those headphones deep enough; crank up the volume loud enough, and you may never even hear all that iPhone trumpeting. Just don't forget to comment below on your favorite iPod software.

Yes, I do this on purpose. I know myself, and I would want it. lol. I already have too much to carry!
Thank you so much for your wonderful program. I just downloaded it today. The only problem I can see so far is that it interferes with my Norton. (That's not too hard to do. I hate norton!) Have a wonderful week!
Viva iPod!

While I know many of you have I pods and cell phones. I have a Motorola SLVR. this is both a sleek cell phone and an itunes player. While frequently use the cell phone, I don't use the itunes player(don't find it usefull compared to my mp3 player). Additionally, I don't use the other features either. (text web multimedia) These features are just another way to seperate you from your money!
I have studied the iphone compared it SLVR, and found the iphone comparable. Don't get me wrong the touch screen is cool, but the phone is too big.
In my overall estimation I would prefer a much smaller basic phone. Lose the camera, e-mail ipod/mp3, etc. features.
Hope this is helpfull.
Dan
And for all the criticism by those who do not own one. I am sorry. Save up for the next edition because its worth every penney to own such a beautiful piece of equipment. It's history in the making and we are part of it. I am estatic because I didn't waste my money.
