The imagery and messages of the season are demonstrated in 3D with interactive Kwanza candles. Candles light in sequence with individual messages. Later you can extinguish or light the flames by clicking on the candles. Press any key to exit interactive screensaver. Contains realistically modeled 3D animated images and MP3 music file. Select from pre-set tints or time of day presets to give a morning, evening or night effect, or go wild and make everything purple. With demo you can also play up to 10 MP3 music files of your own.
Registered version never expires, allows you to play up to 10 MP3 music files of your own and doesn't have the registration reminder overlay text. Demo contains full set of features: sound mute, volume control, background tint, and brightness. Have fun customizing this screen saver to your preferences. Provides password protection. This screensaver decorates your computer for Kwanzaa. 3D Interactive Kwanza Candles shows the seven Kwanzaa candles, labeled in English and Kiswahili with the principle each represents and the date on which you light it. The candles light up in order.
Once they're all lit, you can click on them to turn off the flame; you hit any key to exit. The principles' Kiswahili names fly across the tableau periodically to refresh the screen. The traditional mat, candleholder, communal cup, and fruit also appear. Ears of corn represent the number of children in the household.
The screensaver looks fine, although the realistic objects look out of place with the stylized candles and flat background. We're glad the soundtrack of bells and flutes doesn't grate, since the trial disables mute. An unobtrusive bottom scroll and a smallish text overlay remind you to register.
Wisely for a screensaver that celebrates a seven-day festival, the trial is a scant five days. Our major objection is the uninstaller didn't work, so we had to manually remove the program. The educational 3D Interactive Kwanza Candles particularly suits households with children.
