3D Aquarium Fish Screensaver features schools up to 100 salt-water or fresh-water fish swimming among bubbles within beautiful underwater backgrounds at the same time. You can set the number of fishes or bubbles, customize as fish swim their way around and change the underwater background with very soothing underwater effects. If you have multi-monitors, you can display 3D Aquarium Screensaver on them via settings of your virtual desktop.

Within an attractive settings window, 3D Fish School Screen Saver lets you specify the number of bubbles and fish on the screen. In fact, it's easier to say what you cannot change than what you can. You can specify what type of fish you want on your screen, choose from wave or bubbling sounds, pick from two underwater backgrounds, and alter the movement of the fish. The screen fills with various realistic-looking fish that swim back and forth. The 3D graphics look great, except for some clipping issues when fish swim too close to each other. The bubbles sound more real than they look, and the audio loop gets repetitive. Installation puts two icons on the desktop, and the program brings up a promotional window for the paid version when you close it. All told, 3D Fish School Screen Saver will be the catch of the day for fans of aquarium simulations.

  Version: 3D Fish School Screensaver 3.94

  "Great for a free screensaver."

  Pros: Colorful, lifelike, quite enjoyable. Can select from saltwater or freshwater fish and background in the free version.

  Cons: None that I can tell so far.

  "One of the best ..."

  Pros: Wonderful animations, very clear and realistic, it also has some fantastic backgrounds (tanks), and the graphics look splendid.

  Cons: If this software had a keyboard shortcut to start it (like in WEBSHOTS screen saver) it would have been perfect.

  "The Best, Bar None"

  Pros: Wonderful graphics with lots of fish and lost of of options. This on I will buy.

  Cons: If I could make on change, it would be an option to scale the fish up or down. The fish are huge on my 32" flat panel.
