Worked when Webroot and Symantec failed
Pros: I struggled for 3 days trying to figure out why my desktop icons and taskbar were disappearing and re-appearing and my laptop was virtually disabled. I scoured the internet and read dozens of "fixes" none of which worked. I finally narrowed the problem down to the fact that explorer was crashing and restarting every 10 seconds. I discovered the reference to the Vundo virus which was never caught by Webroot even after rescanning. I downloaded the Symantec removal tool which scanned and found nothing on my computer. In desperation I called my IT guy who recommended this program. I downloaded and ran it. It found 75 infected files plus infected registry keys, etc. Over 100 items in all. On reboot the laptop booted with all of the desktop icons back as well as the taskbar. I bought the product and so far so good.
