simply the best all around.
Pros: Not only is it light on system resources but it does a great job on stopping the bad boys.
Cons: With this program there is nothing to dislike, that is unless you like to dislike...

Ad-Aware 2008
Version: 7.1.0.8AdAware is still one of the best softwares to eliminate spyware. I continue to love it.
Pros: Ad-Aware is best in detecting tracking cookies, midrange spyware and adware. I have used it a long time and it remains one of the best in its class. I am not sure if it is capable of clean a machine of some of the stubborn and more advanced problems.
Cons: In my opinion there is nothing to dislike. This product is free and it does what it says it will do. Not a bad choice if you are layering your protection.

WinPatrol
Version: 15.0.2008While layering security software WinPatrol is a must have.
Pros: WinPatrol alerts me to what is an add on program beyond normality. I love it and depend on it. In many ways it nis like Windows task manager. You can disable any program that you do not want to run at startup.
Cons: None at all

Pros: The clarity is awesome and the audio is superb.
Cons: Once the video has be enlarged the clarity loses a little but for a freebie it is the best

Version: 1.5After trying this software it is better than Jv-16
Pros: I like the the way everything is displayed right there for you to do.
Cons: With this software there is nothing to dislike. I love it. I try out a lot of new software and I often find myself uninstalling. With this I won't have to go into the registry myself, this finds all of the registry items for you.
