In such a short time, the best browser in the market
I just spoted that version 1 of the amazing Firefox was realed only in November, 2004. In that amazing short time, it has picked up so much momentum by adding over a million users per week who are "firing" Windoze IE. Never seen anything like it.
Beides the fact that it is a fraction of the size of IE, is extremely secure, a fraction of the complexity, allows for virtually endless upgrades with the brillant addition of exstentions, is open source, is free (I'll call it donationware). but it is doing the immaginable by going up against the monopolistic Windoze. Microsoft is more of a monolistic anti creativity, anti industry, anti free enterprise, anti competition.
Look at how crappy Outlook, Office, IE and XP have become because of the destruction of the free enterprise system and open markets. There is no competition. They buy their way out of all jams, then they threaten and put out competitors like Sun. Remember that Microsoft will do anything they can, as long as they do not get prosecuted to crush all open source software and any threat to them. So remember, if you see negative reviews her, it is because Microsoft advertises on CNET and these people are out to poison Firefox, which in its young life has to be 5 times more flexible, faster, more secure and easier to use. Runs on Linux and has an endless future.
Firefix is so young and it is your product. Go for it, improve it, use it, add exstentions, tell your friends, ignore negative reviews and remember that expertise in media is bought and sold.
I also use Thunderbird and I cannot wait for Outlook and the rest of Office to be fully replaced and have competition and creativity back in IT. Oh yes, it also will means jobs again.
