Excellent but no longer free for any user

Pros: The many other reviews and the developer's home page answer all the feature questions. SmartFTP is one of the smoothest, most polished and most capable ftp clients for Windows available.

Cons: SmartFTP has historically been free for individual and other noncommercial users. It was recently changed to have only a 9-day trial period. Even with its excellent features, I believe $37 is far too high a price for a license on this software, when many other excellent alternatives are available for less - or for free. I'm switching to Filezilla, myself.
