Great alternative to the Nokia PC suite
Pros: This software has tons of features, many of which are not available in other Phone-PC connection software, like the standard Nokia PC suite.
For instance, you can send and receive MMS messages (PC suite supports only SMS), edit you operator logo, access the call register, edit the mp3 playlist and FM stations (if your phone supports those features), edit the GPRS access points and more.
You can backup all the data on your phone, including contacts, SMS messages, gallery, java applications, etc, with a single click of a button.
You can also sync your contacts and your calendar with Outlook.
One of the best features is that this software can retrieve data from the phone to your computer, whereas the competitor usually (with a few notable exceptions) only allows you to transfer data from your PC to the phone.
This is by far the most powerful phone manager available, and yet it is not at all difficult to learn and use.
Cons: Licensing, licensing and licensing again. The shareware version will only allow you to read data from the phone but will not allow write access. If you decide to buy this software you will have to register each and every phone you have so if you're concerned about privacy you may need to think twice before using it (though you do have read access even to unregistered phone so for instance you can copy data from your friends' phone to yours but not the other way around).
Last note is that your license (which is pretty expensive!) only provides you with one year of updates and support, after which you won't have access even to bug fixes unless you pay about 75% of the original license for an additional year.
