Greatest Registry Cleaner I've used, but too expensive.

Pros: I have had the terrible experience of trusting registry cleaners before to "delete all". I've had to renstall my entire OS. However, Max Registry Cleaner was different. I backed up my system, held my breath, and deleted all invalid entries. It went without a hitch. Max Registry Cleaner cured my system. I was having all kinds of XP errors with explorer, internet, you name it. This program fixed them all in one fell swoop. I gladly paid the appx $30.00 to get my system fixed, but am disappointed that it only subscribes me for a year. And it is always hooked to their system. If you try to use it on another computer, they want another subscription or change it to the other computer.

I will probably not need to clean my registry for a long time. That means, when my system gets in trouble I will have to sign up for another $30.00.

Except for the cost, I would highly recommend this cleaner to anyone. However, always back up your system before you start deleting things in the registry.

Max Registry has a featire for this.

Cons: The yearly fee.

Boy was I surprised!

Pros: Easy to use.

Cons: I tried this program and thought: Boy, this is great! Auslogics defrags my hard drive soooooooooooo fast.

But then ... My computer started slowing down. I would run auslogic and everything looked fine. Until ... I defragged with the standard Windows XP defragment program. That is when I discovered that Auslogic was not defragging my hard drive completely.

I unloaded the program and haven't used it since. If you want a really good defragger that keeps your computer in tip-top condition get Diskeeper. It works great, but you have to pay for it.

If you use Auslogic, be sure and check it out with Microsoft defragger to make sure it is actually working.

I hope you have better luck than I did.

Lousy Tech Support

Pros: Works good when it is working.

Cons: The program is quirky. Sometimes works, sometimes you have to fiddle with the "Viewers" on the remote computers to get your main computer to recognize them.
