Pros: interface, skins.
Cons: the ad watch icon on desktop,what does it do? always asks to upgrade.
full scan always throws error.
starting is slow.
update keeps failing.
the ad watch icon is not removed on uninstall.slows down my computer whenever i run this.not as good as 'ad-aware se' used to be. i installed this, musn't have.
can live without it.

Pros: i use the paid product nero.i wanted to burn linux os iso. so in nero smart essentials i clicked burn image to disc and followed instrutions-result ,nero burned back another iso image as image.nrg on my hard disk!!! so i was desperate for an iso burner. donno whether vista has a built-in iso burner. fortunately got burn aware on download.com. this product did the task immediately.
-the UI is very friendly. there is one click to burn iso image to disc. immediately lets us choose and starts the burning process. the UI is also good-looking
-most importantly its very fast than paid products about 3x fast i'd say, and we can work on other programs while this product does its job quitely,unlike other paid products which tend to freeze the system.

Pros: in one program it does a lot of things like spyware block,removal and clean up. i like that it is fast. i use it after ccleaner, coz it finds and cleans more junk. also it has some extra utilities like shows details of system etc. must have program. however 2.7.2 has a few bugs.
Cons: first of all the right side interface to purchase product throws certificate errors in vista. secure deletion is not available. also, in this particular version 2.7.2, the first time i ran it, worked as usual. then i updated and ran the program again-in this second time onwards it is throwing an error- reference.db cannot be found. it keeps asking to reinstall the program. so i reinstalled, and still same problem. i could not find answer to it in their website.

Pros: good utility. i wonder whether this is the original idea behind vista's snipping tool-of course when have we ever heard of ms come up with original ideas anyway?
Cons: i wonder whether this product will gain popularity to a vista user as there is vista snipping tool.

Pros: Love this browser. The features i like most are speed dial, speech, fast loading, downloader.
Cons: Few but critical bugs. First of all, the browser freezes way too often on my vista, i have to shutdown the process opera.exe and restart it every time. sometimes i have to shutdown omputer itself-quite bad there. Secondly , it does not have a back button to go back to-not the previous but some 10th page preceeding the current page-nowadays all browsers have that button-that button is very important; opera is missing it. Thirdly i would love if there were more than 9 speed dials because unlike on a telephone its possible on a computer. Fourth, i donno how or why we must create different profiles to use it as different users. the browser must install itself to every user on a computer + install shortcuts by itself to every user. that is what other (even non-browser) programs do. having to create profiles is laborious not to mention an unwanted headache.
