Pros: I've been using this program since Flash MX, from Macromedia. The CS3 version is cleaner, uses much less system resources, and introduces ActionScript 3.0!
Cons: Pricey for the casual, curious user. Quite a bit of a learning curve, but you;ll be surprised at what is possible with this powerful app.

Pros: I have only used the CS3 version of InDesign. I am a graphic Artist, and it allows me to do exactly what I need to flawlessly. Booklets, brochures, magazines, ect.
Cons: Nothing significant. Some controls and shortcuts and s little different than other Adobe software, which was annoying at first, but I got over it. The only rival to this program is Quark.

Pros: Great .pdf viewer & editor. Tons of features with the full version.
Cons: Can be slow at times due to its size. Also, I don't think theres $550 worth of features in the full version compared to the free version.

Pros: Great program. Very organized and eay-to-use/edit photos, clean interface, nice effects while viewing photos, such as very subtle fade and other smooth animations. Most Google software produced does the job better than anyone else.
Cons: A few little problems. Yea, you can manage movies with it, but don't bother :). Also, setting an image to desktop from Picasa2 automatically sets it to "Stretch". Maybe i want it to "Center". That's about it.

Pros: Laucnhy is great in every way it seems. Simply begin typing in the name of the program/file/website favorite that you want to launch, and its there before you finish. For example, at this point, i type in "f", and theres firefox. Launchy knows!
I'm also heavy on having a clean desktop. 1,000 icons and quick launch links is quite the opposite. With this app there's no need for any icons really, which is a plus for me.
Cons: One of the 4 computers I installed in on has a problem. The launchy window is invisible!? i can still type and launch the programs...just can't see anything :S
