This could be a vrius?

Cons: After clicking on the executable, a DOS prompt opened and then closed immediately. Something might have been installed in the hard drive but there is no indication of what it is. After the "install", there is no icon on the desktop and no entry in the Start menu either. As the result, there is no known way for me to run the program. May be someone know how this should be run and can inform me here.
