Excellent lightweight Text editor

Pros: I am using TEXTPAD for more than 7 years now and it is the most impressive editor that i have ever used. It is lightweight, good macros for color highlighting and small nice tools which will help you in editing. It is not richer in features like notepad pro and ultra edit etc. but this is what you need for most of your basic editing. I think MS should really bought this company and include textpad in windows.

Cons: There are few downsides using it. First of all they update/upgrades very rarely. Textpad 5.0 came almost after 4 years of wait. people were almost ready to give up this software by that time. Version 5 got some fresh features and customers retain their software. I wish if they can release updates more frequently to be competitive in market.
