great packet of joy since these easy-to-use programs work splendidily together

Pros: The Innovative Sys Pack 2 applications are not only easy-to-use; they are comprehensive, customizable, detailed, eye-pleasing, thorough, feature-laden, option-packed, informative, problem-solving and so much more.

Advanced Uninstaller Pro 9 is absolutely and positively by far my favorite Uninstaller of any I have ever used including Advanced Uninstaller Pro 8. Maybe I favor pretty software that is packaged nicely and is aesthetically beautiful. Maybe I favor software that is incredibly packed with options, resources, information, details and problem-solving that no matter how many questions you may ask about how your PC is doing: the effective status of it's being..... AUP9 will always have a multitude of answers for you. Is it worth $39.00? Definitely!

Innovative Startup Firewall does it's job right and it does it well without being over-reactive: annoying, rude, bothersome or stupid; or being under-reactive: always lacking, undependable, not present or unreliable. You can count on it to secure your PC's Startup although it may not quite be worth the $19.00 Innovative Solutions prices it at.

Driver Max is a wonderful program. A god send it is backing up all those Drivers seemlessly without any hitch. I had no problems with Driver re-installation on two separate occasions. This software is normally offered as Freeware but would definitely be worth spending a few bucks if it was Shareware.

Advanced Task Manager is so incredibly detailed that you will always know exactly what processes are running. The program efficiently tackles the questions I most often have about processes: WHY are they there; WHY are they running and stealing valuable RAM from my programs and PC? The detailed information Innovative provides here is top-notch and worth the $29.00 normally charged for this app.

System Optimizer is a solid program and unfortunately one I have only used sparingly as I prefer another app for system optimizing.

Cons: Priced at $68.00, Innovative Solutions is asking alittle too much for Sys Pack 2. If purchased separately, the four Sys Pack 2 shareware would total $111.00. A 50% discount on any bundle of software is much more reasonable for Innovative to charge and expect to be paid. I therefore believe that Sys Pack 2 should retail for $55.50.

No matter how much I praise both Advanced Uninstaller Pro 9 and AUP8 some things need to be mentioned!

In both AUP9 and AUP8, the software installation monitor is a headache to work with. It gets quite fussy at times when it is working which runs between 40 and 60% of the time. Do not rely on this installation monitor because it will let you down and not be monitoring when you seem to need it most.

AUP9 like AUP8 cannot seem to always uninstall every trace of a software that it uninstalls; whether the installation monitor is used or not. If you are looking for this trait in an Uninstaller, get Ashampoo Uninstaller 3!

AUP9 and AUP8 both bring up very peculiar INVALID entries on their Installed Programs List. Randomly occurring at various intervals, AUP will report that certain apps are "INVALID". About half of the time I have proved that the apps displayed as invalid were NOT invalid! If you choose the quick and easy one-click button "REMOVE INVALID" there is no quick and easy way to replace the allegedly INVALID listings unless you have backed up BEFORE entering AUP or you (gasp!) meticulously directly edit your Registry. Adobe Air, Adobe Media Player, IntelliType Pro and IntelliPoint Pro are quite frequently and mysteriously detailed as INVALID for me. After several months of checking to see if these were actually INVALID, none of them ever were/are.

Advanced Disk Cleaner is is. It is a Freeware program that is average in both it's application and results. At times it is overzealous in it's cleansing. Keep an eye on it to prevent it from mischief!

I would love to see Advanced Site Crawler 2003 updated and included in a future Sys Pack !
