New in 2.4: it now includes GTK, there's no need to download it separately.

Pros: This is my preferred photo editor

It's good that GIMP and GTK are in the same download and install package now

Cons: You need to visit GIMP's homepage to get the help file (if you only need English just click on the bottom link for the 16MB download).

The packaging needs further improvement: it would be nice to have help included in the install (I'd suggest in future to have 2 install flavours: english and international)
