what good is a converter that can't handle wmf and emf
Cons: it can even properly open wmf emf files
(windows meta files and enhanced meta files respectively)

Pros: being able to see what kinds of results I am getting before i waste my time loading a Google page
Cons: search results are too truncated. this makes it hard to tell if the results are good or not

VLC Media Player
Version: 0.8.6fnot as good as it used to be
Pros: Still the best VCD player for Mac
Cons: The VLC is not as good as it used to be. I get a lot more errors not than I used to. It also does not seam to be able to do streaming video any more.

Version: 1.0.8just another browser with a gimic that did not mean much to me
Pros: It was OK as a browser, but I think I will stick with Safari and Firefox. I never bothered with any of the social networking stuff because I really don't bother with online social networking.
Cons: loaded pages slower than safari

Pros: it is extensive
Cons: it seemed entirely too slow. I ran it for the better part of a day and it only made it about a third of the way to completion. I also found the display of the found files to be cumbersome too. previews load in a separate window that you have to switch back from to look at another file and loading of the preview took a noticeable amount of time.
