Pros: It makes me feel like a child again, great stuff!! If you love astronomy you will love this! Much better than Google sky.
Cons: A little buggy at the moment but nothing serious, with a couple of updates it will be perfect!

Pros: Every time i get an update for this fantastic free firewall it just gets even better! I have used a few paid versions and they don't even come close! This is an easy to use firewall! Listen, for you first time users READ THE HELP FILES AND LEARN HOW TO USE IT PROPERLY ! For the first couple of days run the Firewall and the Proactive defense on training mode, let it learn about your computer Then slide the both bars up to safe mood. Anytime in the future you want to install or uninstall software move the Proactive bar to training Mode or switch to Installation Mode (as it works either way). If you follow these easy steps you will be a 'happy chappy' and you will get very few pop ups.
I'm no computer expert but it really is such an easy and good firewall to use, just try it and be patient for the first day or so.
Cons: Nothing. It's the best thing since sliced bread !

Pros: The last version i had far too many problems with to the point i had to uninstall it! Well when i saw there was a new version i thought i would give it a try, what the heck! Seriously they seem to be heading in the right direction as great improvements have been made. A full scan took just over 5 minutes and updating seems to be much easier without the major problems as before. Another major factor i had problems with before was windows defender would go on 'red alert' every time i opened Spyware Terminator. This issue too has been resolved! So people out there who had loads of problems ( i remember there was a few!) i think you should give the new version a try.
P.S. The real-time protection is working too!!
Cons: I would advice you to leave the Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) off..unticked, it still interferes too much to the point of distraction!

Pros: I have read through most of the comments and most people seem to agree it's a good freebee! I think AVG goes from strength to strength and at the end of the day it is free. If you want something extra then get the paid version or another pay for anti virus.It was very easy to install and set up with the updates only taking about a minute. So don't know why others had such problems. Also the scan took a total of 21 minutes ( and not hours!)you can adjust the speed of the scan. Common sense at the bottom setting the scan will take longer and at the higher setting it will of course be much faster! I found it very easy to use with a very simple uncomplicated set up.
With any new software read the help files and learn how to use the settings before complaining about it! If you think it's so bad just find something else better and let us know about it.But at the end of the day AVG is VERY popular. Keep up the good work boys and girls at AVG!

Pros: This is such a good cleaner and it goes really deep to clean out junk files and is far better than the windows built in cleaner. Also another good part is, it is so good at cleaning up after you have uninstalled software, its amazing how much gets left behind! And of course it is free 'thank you' !
Cons: Slight warning,do be careful what boxes you tick. If you are unsure what it is cleaning untick the box and leave it alone. CCLEANER is very efficient and you may end up deleting part the necessary windows programmes.
