Uses too much processor

Pros: Both of us are retired and I was looking for a simple reminder of day and date. This program seemed to do that very well and my system performance was stable and I liked the graphics!

Cons: I am running a Pentium 4, 3 MHz processor and the program, pared down to the fewest elements and options I could manage, still consumed about 85% of the CPU capacity...too much wear and tear that only replaces crossing off the date on a paper calendar.
