ieSpell

Version: 2.5.1 build 106

Excellent.

Pros: It works as advertised... and its free.

Has a small footprint on your pc, doesn't mess up your toolbar, and isn't a memory hog.

Works every time.

I couldn't think of how it could be better.

JLC's Internet TV

Version: 1

The best of all the "free" Internet TV programs - and I've tried them all.

Pros: In the past month I've downloaded every free Internet TV program listed by CNET, and run them all.

This is by far the best program in its class avoiding many of the problems of other programs.

For example, it clearly tags those TV stations that are currently not on line... it also lets you select TV stations by country, and in the case of the US, they give you 5 subsets... further, they identify programs by type of program - news, etc.

It downloads and installs swiftly, updates easily (new stations and new s/w improvements), and it doesn't need an inch thick manual to understand how to use it.

The program is safe, hasn't caused any system instability, no viruses, no spam, no ad-ware. Its free and good!

My hat's off to the developer - great job!

Cons: CNETs site had problems downloading this s/w, so I went to the developers site to download it.

Glary Utilities

Version: 2.5.2

Outstanding! Beats IOBit's products

Pros: Fast, bulletproof, comprehensive.

I've tested other products after using Glary, and they find no problems, but when I use the other products first, Glary finds problems they've missed.

Cons: It would be great if they added a continuous defrager program, like IOBit's Smart Defrag (Beta).

Advanced WindowsCare Professional

Version: 2.5.5

Best I've ever used

Pros: This is fast and very high function, with ease of use that is best in industry.

I've used this after using Norton, Ad-Aware, McAfee and Spybot. This is faster and very high function, with ease of use that is best in industry.

As protection vs. MalWare and AdWare, it picks up items missed by the others, and does it MUCH faster, with equal or better ease of use and simplicity.

As a registry repair tool, it is the fastest of all, and seems to do the job well.

Glary Utilities

Version: 2.2.2.66

DOES WORK NICELY - BUT IS A SINGLE PURPOSE PRODUCT

Pros: THIS PROGRAM WORKS NICELY.

ON THE OTHER HAND, THERE ARE LOTS OF PRODUCTS THAT HAVE THE SAME FUNTION, PLUS OTHER FUNCTIONS (LIKE REGISTRY EDITORS) BUILT IN.

I PREFER IOBIT SMART WINDOWS CARE BECAUSE OF ITS GREATER FUNCTIONS.
