Avast Home Edition
Version: 4.8.1195Does what it says on the tin
Pros: I changed over from the latest version of AVG free as I was experiencing problems with it and now I'm happy that I've made the change.
Avast is working away quietly in my system tray and doesn't appear to interfere with any other programmes or functions on my computer.

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition
Version: 8.0.1Unusuable in its present state
Pros: Have always liked AVG Free and used it for years, but their latest version...
Cons: didn't work well for me. It slowed down Mozialla Firefox to such an extent, that I couldn't use my favourite browser anymore. Eventually, after no solution could be found, I had to uninstall AVG and installed Avast Home Edition instead which appears to be working a treat, nice and quiet in the background.

eBay Desktop
Version: 1.0.4.32Appears to be great for Buyers
Pros: Haven't played around with it yet but it appears to be pretty comprehensive for buyers and lookers.
Cons: Great shame it doesn't support eBay sellers, so if you sell and buy, you still need to go back and forth between different applications.
