Cons: 90 pages tex file with some math produced (using MikTeX) ps file 429,215 bytes :
* Using Ghostscript pdf file produced is 440,417 bytes
* Using Primopdf pdf file produced is 3,507,392 bytes
* Using Foxit pdf file produced is 35,385,721 bytes
Quality of view in pdf files (using Acrobat reader 8.1) is
best with Ghostscript and worst with Foxit

Cons: Relearning (new) compiler and linker options for ftn77 and slink is not worthwhile since no clear advantages motivate.

Pros: Most features are equal or even better than Commercial IDE's
Cons: Difficulty trying to compile by FTN77 from this IDE. I am not sure I got it right yet.
FTN77 downloaded stripped of Plato to compare.
