Pros: ClocX is a fun, skinnable application. It is very adaptable and user-friendly, so one can make it look and behave their way. It's great for us old coots who happen to love an old-fashioned analog clock face! It can be configured to consume very little in the way of system resources. It also has alarms that can be set. Best of all, it's FREEware!

Pros: This program is attractive and easy to use. It has a friendly interface that invites you to write. The calendar lets you go to any day with one click. You can personalize your journal and make it uniquely yours by adding pictures or icons, as well as changing fonts and text color. You can password-protect it and even run it totally from a USB flash drive.

Pros: This program allows the user to password-protect their thoughts in a page-a-day format. It takes up little room and few system resources.
Cons: There is no opportunity to personalize one's diary... no rich text or image insertion. One of the best features of a computer journal is being able to make it unique to you, and this program is sadly lacking in that ability.

Pros: I like the many ways one can personalize this journal and make it truly their own. This is SO important to keep one writing! I hate it when I feel like someone is telling me exactly how I must do my writing! A journal is supposed to be one's own special place, and you have captured that very nicely! I also love the way the Help files are written... very friendly. I really like being able to insert images. Finally, I really, REALLY love that it is freeware! Some of the shareware is really getting pricey!
Cons: Not everyone has to have a password; you need to make it optional. I don't think I like not being able to change entries later... quite often I like to add an update on something with a date and a different font and color. It helps me to look back and see how I've progressed.

Pros: This works with all of the most popular IM programs (AOL, ICQ, Yahoo, MSN), so you won't have friends griping that you don't use "their" program!
