Pros: this is wonderful. i had about 4 or 6 other programs installed for .flv, div, .avi etc, but this is just remarkable, it contains every codec in existence! I recommend this program to every windows user, even if they are not tech smart.
Cons: it would have been useful to show the different filters versions

Pros: if any body asks me which download accelerator i would reccomend i always answer flashget (with the wonderful flashgot firefox extension). it's fast, powerful, full of features, and best of all free!
flashget recently added bittorrent support which really impressed me. it's not as fancy as other bittorrent clients, but if you have a smalll uploading stream then you could use flashget to leech other bittorrent clients without uploading. i'm not saying this is a good thing, but for people with strict upload limit this is the best thing.

Pros: yet another bittorrent client with good clean interface and stable uploading / downloading handling with little CPU consumption.
the only thing that really stood apart from the rest of the clients it its peer to peer recomendation system, which allows you to tag downloads, view what other people have found interesting, and get to find more interesting downloads from people who download / upload from / to you so i've found that prety good feature to have
Cons: i think its written in Python like the original bittorrent client, which is a good language for scripts, not sure about full featured application.

Pros: i've been using zone alarm free internet security suite for several years now. they've always kept the product up to date with the latest security threats and best of all i didn't pay a dime.
Cons: the GUI is a complete mess, and i wish they would take more effort redesigning the thing.

Pros: roboform is one of the first password safes to come out to market, it has always been a good product and has many features to offer like browser integration.
Cons: it costs money now days and it comes included with a search toolbar which i didn't like. also, there are other free alternatives which are almost as good as the paid version
