THE BEST FREEWARE YET .

Pros: I feel that this is an excellent anti-spyware program that pulls up a lot of stuff even though the majority is tracking cookies . It has a nice looking , easy to understand interface and is probably just as good if not better than AVG anti-spyware or a lot of the garbage freeware that download.com offers .

Cons: Not really anything I can think of . So far I haven't had to remove any major infections with it so I cant honestly say how well it would do with this .

EXCELLENT FREE BURNER .

Pros: I finally found a free program that works great to burn a data cd . Appears to be light on resources and easy program to use that I would recommend this to most newbies who are just starting to burn music discs .

Cons: Nothing so far except I dont know how well this would work if burning a DVD or backing up files onto a disc . I dont beleive it has additional features that roxio and nero have but when you consider that its free and works you cant complain .

SOLID PROTECTION .

Pros: It seems to be doing a good job so far. Like other firewalls such as zonelarm it gives several pop-ups letting you know what it's doing or asking permission to open a program .

Cons: Nothing I can really think of other than it's not free .

A WASTE OF TIME .

Pros: NOTHING.

Cons: THIS PROGRAM IS NOT FREE AT ALL , AND WHEN ATTEMPTING TO BURN A DISC I WAS REPEATEDLY RE-DIRECTED TO A SITE THAT THE MCAFEE SITE ADVISOR WARNED ME HAD LINKS TO ANOTHER SITE THAT DISTRIBUTES ADWARE, SPYWARE AND POTENTIALLY UNWANTED PROGRAMS , SO EVERYONE SHOULD JUST AVOID THIS JUNK PROGRAM AND NOT WASTE THEIR TIME RUINING A DISC LIKE I DID IN THE PROCESS .

Ashampoo Burning Studio

COULD BE BETTER .

Pros: Beautiful interface and smooth download . I have burned one music CD so far with good results .

Cons: This was supposed to offer a 30 day trial and it wasn't. Instead I was offered the program for $19.99 and purchased it and I was not able to burn any movie files with this . I was offered a refund and can still use it for burning music discs I suppose .
