Pros: Pro: quick & seems to find most but not all dupes.
Cons: Cons: 1) a lack of user options - good for newbies, but I like to have some say over what a program does with my data, 2) what's with the constant registration?, 3) Why do I get nervous when obvious dupes are missed? Can it be trusted?

Pros: Pro: very small footprint, plays nicely with other software, does a pretty good job or cleaning up email that have been forwarded - especially those that have been forwarded multiple time. Very simple and easy to use. You can't beat the price.
Cons: Cons: The program never really installs on your computer, a little strange. Not as good as the old eClearner freeware program. Expect that you will have to do some manual editing. It does a better job with test emails than HTML emails.

Pros: Relative small foot print. Very easy to install, Very simple to use. This addin play nicely with other programs. Put another way, installing it does do cause something else to fail, a point not alway true of some addins. The spell check runs quickly with just a single click.
Cons: It would be nice if ieSpell used the custom dictionary used by Office apps. Purely a spell check. No spelling context checking (for example no versus know) and no grammar check.

Pros: Does a decent job of cleaning up temp files, log files, and the like. CCleaner is far superior PCdecrapifier. It recognized more installed programs and start up exe's. Easy install. It runs very quickly. You can save deleted items for recovery if you made a mistake.
Cons: It fails to recognize all installed programs. It will only do cleaning for the logged in ID. There is no apparent way to do a one shot clean up across all users. It does not remove 100% of deleted apps. The registry cleaner lacks any useful help; don't go there if you are not comfortable playing with the registry. The start up menu cleaner does not provide any useful information, so it is not always obvious what can be removed safely. CCleaner takes an interesting approach to handling cookies. Again, important information about each cookies (such as what's in the cookie) is missing.

Pros: The software is very easy to install. The user interface is clean and intuitive. Lots of options on what to delete. Allows for backups for deleting registry entries. The program is stable and basically does what it says. I recommend the latest version 1.5... It has a number of fixes for minor but irritating bugs.
Cons: It does not clean 100% of a program; lots of folders, files, and registry entries left behind. It does not detect all programs. The registry cleaner is very simplistic and incomplete. The start menu cleaner needs refinement. Stick with MSCONFIG if you don't have an alternative.
