Impressive, unmatched productivity

Pros: The two thing I like the most is productivity and its community.

I have been project leading and programming in most languages during more than 15 years. My teams have never been more productive and my products had less errors than with Dolphin (I am now using the pro version).

The community support (newsgroup and other sources) is problem-focused and most helpful.

In other respects, Dolphin is easy to use, documented.

Its Smalltalk nature was a few years ago a con for me, but now I learned to love it and Dolphin has enough Windows integration tools so I don't worry about not using a mainstream language.

I guess productivity and product robustness have compensated all the previous concerns I and my clients had.

In my point of view, simplicity is king, and Dolphin is SIMPLE, yet most powerful.

Cons: This is not really Dolphin's fault but, in order to get the most out of it, one must be really opened to change its way of programming and see software. Otherwise, don't bother.

The only thing I miss is lack of WinCE support.
