Pros: I've always hated it when my system begins to slowdown because of all the files that were not removed by an application's un-installer. This is a very cleaver application that makes sure that no traces of an application are left behind when taking them off. After all, who hates having to re-install Windows every few years or so ?

Pros: Installation is quick and painless - a little icon resides in your system tray to inform you of current status. When defragging, it shows a star moving around in a circle. You can pause this at any time through the control panel which is accessed through this icon. A pause indicator is shown when your busy performing tasks and the software is idle. When defragging is complete and fragmentation protection is on, a little shield is shown. All in all it really is a magical little program, especially for the price I was offered in a discount email from Ashampoo !

Pros: Ok, so I have Yahoo Widgets installed with some nifty little apps that inform me of system resources and activity but they take up quite a bit of space and I have to "show desktop" to view them. Having them on top of other windows is not a good idea - so the answer is this little utility that takes up little space in the bottom right hand corner of the windows when it's configured to be on top of every other window. You can set the transparency so you can make out details below it if you need to. Quite a cleaver idea on the way it conveys information on your system resources and this alone deserves some of those stars.

Pros: As an owner of Power-up XP Platinum I had to upgrade to version 3 for the price I was offered at ý6.99 - well worth the upgrade. Everything I need, tweak ( hidden windows settings ) and information wise (i.e. hard disk info, memory etc ) is in this program.
