No longer a stable program

Pros: When this program worked, it was a great tool to help synchronize Roboform info between multiple PC desktops and your PDA handheld.

Cons: This used to be a stable program but it has stopped working properly.This has not worked correctly for at least 6 months, it just does not synchronize between multiple PC's.

I first contacted the Roboform support team via their website and did not receive a response for at least two months, until I wrote them about another problem with their PC desktop version of Roboform. While I had a captive audience I brought up the Palm version problem. I finally received a reply saying that they were aware that there is a bug in the program causing this problem, and a fix was going to be released in a week or so.

3-4 weeks later the fix finally was released but when I installed the newest version, the problem was not corrected. I wrote to tech support informing them that the bug was not corrected, again no response.

Again I wrote tech support about another problem and again complained about the bug and received absolutely no response or acknowledgemnt.

I called Roboform complaining about the problem and was basically told that there was nothing they could do for me since they were not the developer for the Palm version. (Yet, they sell it on their website)

Months passed by with still no correction to the bug and I once again wrote customer support. I no longer even remember how I managed to get a response from them but was told one more time that a fix was to be released in a week. 3-4 weeks later the fix was released and guess what? After two patched versions, Roborform for Palm still does not work!

The Roboform PC desktop version has always been a very good product, cannot live without it. The customer support for the desktop version has always been exemplary however it is a real shame that they allow the developer of the Palm version who obviously does not care about their customers taint their product line.

Even more of a shame is the fact that they continue to sell the Palm version even though it is not a properly working program.

Good program-customer support way misses the mark

Pros: The program is great when it works and it ususally does.

Cons: Customer support is horrendous. The program usually works but if you run into a snag, you are completely on your own.

Good-bye Roboform, had enough of your lack of customer support, I have switched over to TurboPasswords, works fantastic.
