Thank You Very Much for Making Me a Little Less Nervous!
Pros: Excellent Easy "Install Mode" for when you are installing applications. Just "Right Click" on Icon and Choose "Install Mode" which limits HPPS for installs. This is easier than Comodo Firewall (also installed) that requires you to either open the application and toggle a button on screen, or wait for the first flag to open and for you to set it to treat as installer, then press "Yes" on another pop-up asking you if you want to go into install mode.
Immunize works Great (In the Internet settings) which does a great job if you want to make sure your browsers are protected more. You do not have to have Web Security Guard feature installed to get immunized, as I don't use the Web Guard, but do use SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, and only use Firefox to browse (With I.E. Tab Plugin allowing me to use Internet Explorer engine within tabs within Firefox, that allow me to use Firefox to work seemlessly with sites like Windows Update. I did have to disable the "Immunize" feature, and restart firefox for me to post in this space, although I think this feature is very good for general surfing safety, as I have surfed for many hours without any glitches with immunize on, though not typing in forums. Maybe a feature in SpywareGuard or SpywareBlaster is being repeated.
Real Time Protection, at no charge. Appears to work great.
Cons: It Would be Nice if popup windows displayed ith application icon and not just the name of the file, simular to how Comodo Firewall/HPPS does (Which I use along with Spyware Terminator). I am Dyslexic, and seeing a "Firefox Icon", say, on the Comodo Firewall Pop-ups, gives me the edge to more quickly, and correctly, choose the correct button. This feature would be Cool on future versions of Spyware Terminator.
Slower machines with low RAM may feel a slow down, But I haven't, that much, but with many more bells and whistles, that can be expected as a trade off for a decent Security, I hope.
