Multiple Simultaneous Recording Tracks
Pros: I've always liked ACID for multitrack recording on solo projects, now it will record as many tracks at once as your hardware is capable of. Two mono tracks with a normal soundcard, or just plug in as many USB soundcards as you can get your hands on. I've had it running with an on-board soundcard and an additional PCI soundcard on one system (W2K), and on a lapop with on-board sound and two USB soundcards (yep, 6 inputs simultaneously) - and the USB devices were just cheap no-brand jobbies that installed themselves under XP Pro.
Cons: The bundled VST effects were not too spectacuar...
