Audiograbber

Version: 1.83

Best Audio Rip Tool for Years!

Pros: - Easy to use, Too Easy

- Direct to MP3, and other formats

- Uses OpenDB CD-DB to automatically get Album and Track info

- On the fly ripping

- Great useful advanced options

It's simplicity is great, but still has advanced settings for those who like them.

Cons: Nothing... everything has been great with the application for years, and I'm sure it will be the best for years to come too. It's simplicity is great, but still has advanced settings for those who like them.

ImageDiff

Version: 1.0.1

It's Ok, does the trick.

Pros: Heat map displays differences well. Easy to spot where it's different.

It's free :)

Cons: - no drag and drop of files onto application

- no "send to.." shell integration

It really needs these as browsing to files all the time is annoying.

WordWeb

Version: 5

Incredible - too easy to use

Pros: Easy access to word define, synonym and example use of word. Like Magic: Ctrl R-Click on anyword; the best part is that you don't even have to select it or highlight it, some how it detects any word under the mouse pointer like magic.

Very fast working.

I only tested it for a few seconds but it's very good so far.

Polite: It will only search web if you ask t to. +wikipedia

Cons: none at the moment

BillQuick Lite 2007

Version: 8.0.82

Looks ok - BUT Free version Nightmares

Pros: Everything is good - UNTIL I aked to run the free version. I could never get it to a FREE, they always send you a Trial Key, not a free key.

Downloaded this thing 4 times - tried different keys - never worked as Free was always "Trial" mode.

+ Best part is they ran through a one-on-one web demonstration with me, that was great! :-) , Bonus points for that.

Cons: Maybe I did something wrong - but they never helped me. (I sent numerous help requests)

I wanted to use free version then upgrade at a later unknown date (not 30 days)

This was basically impossible for me.

MAKE SURE the Free Version is running WITHOUT "TRIAL"
